August 30, 2020 (Flanders Valley - Blue/White)
Bruce takes Ed and Mike out behind the woodshed and wins by 10 shots on a beautiful day. Bruce was on fire with the putter and when he missed a green he got up and down. He supplied the beer after the round. He also won $20 in nines - all in all a great day.
Jim P blisters Warrenbrook with a 63 for a 5 shot win over FT DGA. Jim shot 1 over gross 73 and FT had 41 net for the last 12 holes. 4 guys dropped and they missed a great day - no rain, sun for 3 or 4 holes on the back and a 4 hour round. Thanks to JRut for hosting us after the round and he did an exceptional job cooking the dogs and burgers - not one was left over. Looks like Ron Sr won't be the cook on his next trip east.

August 27, 2020 (Neshanic Valley - Meadow/Lake)
Dan and Jim Rinaldi tie with net 72 on a windy and warm day at Neshanic. We played Meadow for the first time this year at least that is what everyone thought. The winds really picked up on the back and only Dan and Bruce seemed to be able to master the conditions. Dan's round was the result of masterful chipping and putting - we estimated he had 27 putts on the round. The handicaps were set for Ridge/Lake so when they were adjusted to Meadow/Lake everyone lost one shot - the only pot it impacted was Ed lost a net birdie and ended up in a tie with Jr.
August 15, 2020 (Quail Brook)
Charlie Connors and his partner both shoot career low rounds and tie for first place. This propelled them to a Partners Match victory over Cavallo and Korleski. In Match Play, Andrew Keller defeated Bruce Rapp 4 & 3. No Johnny's this week.
August 8, 2020 (Spooky Brook)
Ron "I" Ceglia Jr. matches his career low round gross and shoots a net 63 for a 2 stroke win over Petronchak. In Match Play, Jeffries defeats Rismanchi 4 & 3. Gary Yusko had the only Johnnie, a result of a 13 on the 17th hole. After the round, Ceglia Jr. used the word "I" 150 times, the over/under was 100, but then he video called Ceglia Sr. which put him over the top. On a housekeeping note, several guys left their empty beer cans on the ground and drove off. This is wrong on a couple levels. First, is that you expect fellow members to pick up after you. The other, if left there, the county will not be happy and could possibly crack down on our post round activities. As any good Sniper knows, police your brass (or in this case aluminum).
Dave Perry jumps in to take Greg's spot and wins by 7 shots over Mike. Ron Jr after hitting his 3rd or 4th 280 yard drive down the middle said "I can't compete". Greens were quick and the rough was up.
August 2, 2020 (Sunset Valley)
On and off downpours on the front 9 but no rain on the back. Ceglia Jr and Perry tie with 72's, but Jr. has his hand in every Pot. Perry holes 100 feet of putts on the first 4 holes . Korleski 4-putts the 10th green, 3 of them from 18 inches, so much for local knowledge!
Bob Babetski shoots a stellar 64 to win by 4 shots over Jr. Babo also wins his match over Jay after they tied the first time. Andrew wins over Greg 3 and 2. Jim R and Mike had a 63 PQR and finish second in the qualifying behind the Bobbies. There was an error on the Bylina and Keller PQR on the 18th hole score - their correct PQR is 66 not 65. Dave Ellis should have been a 17 today even though the tee sheet reflected 16. Dave and Gary therefore had a 64 PQR and Dave shoots net 70.
