January 31, 2017 (Twin Eagles, FL)
The Naples contingent was hosted at Twin Eagles by Cora, a close friend of Mark Schuler, who made us a great dinner (Mark Schuler cooked the steaks). Mark wins by 5 shots on a tough course with fast greens, all elevated, with many steep pitches on shots rolling off the slopes. This course is home to a Tour Champions event annually.

Mark Schuler wins by 2 shots over Jim Petronchak in a very up and down round for everyone. Lots of water and tricky holes, plenty of interesting tee shots. Question? How do you make a 14? You 1 putt.
January 28, 2017 (Forest Glen, FL)
Interesting course, tight, forced carries and tough hard to read greens. Jim Petronchak wins by 1 stroke over Mark Schuler. Plenty of big numbers and despite lots of reloads and searches, we played in 4:20.
Fox Hollow played very long with wet fairways and constant wind…with gusts up to 35-40mph. After Jim Rinaldi threatened his putter with retirement, he made 2 long birdie putts (#11 & #14) which enabled him to win by 1 shot. We played as a fivesome in 4.5 hours...and played 25's (expanded version of 9's). Mike Jeffries and Frank Thiry cleaned up!
January 21, 2017 (Spooky Brook)
Good scoring for the most part in cloudy and cool and slightly muddy conditions. Shawn Smith wins by 2 shots over Rich Fitzgerald.
January 19, 2017 (Neshanic Valley)
Ron Emma starts out with 3 doubles then catches fire and wins just about everything. The weather didn’t quite work out like forecast. With the clouds and wind it was quite cold for most of the round.

January 15, 2017 (Forest Glen, FL)
Forest Glen won this round. Hazards everywhere, forced carries and elephants buried in some greens and they were all lightning fast made for a tough day. Beautiful course - we probably should have played from the Forest tees - the back hybrid made most of the tee shots quite challenging. We all want to play it again ... next year. Thanks Min for hosting our winter getaway at LTs winter home.

January 13, 2017 (Eagle Lakes)
Mike Rolph started out hot and held on for a one shot win over Min and Mike J. If Min could've bogeyed one par 3 he could have won the day. Weather was perfect although a little windy. Water on every hole.
Jim Petronchak wins by 3 shots over Ron and Mike on a cold winter day. Some grreens were frozen and some not making for some interesting shots. Lowlight of the day - we had a 4th join us - Joe chipped his ball into the water on our first hole - then asks if anyone has a ball since his cart was not close. Ron tosses him a brand new Pro V and he makes an fielding error and it goes in the lake - Ron of course was not happy. Mike then tosses him a Callaway and he barely stops that one. He ends up with a 9. He "replaces" Ron's ball with a Srixon - not a bad deal.
