Jim Petronchak wins by 7 strokes over Jim Rinaldi and Bob Keller on a day that sent players back to the cars to get jackets and rain gear. The front nine took it's toll on the field as there were 3 good Johnnys, and 2 good Mega Johnnys and a total of 47 equities, with #8 being the chief culprit. Larry Thiry tops off his 9 on #8 by sliding off the tee on #9 and into the creek, but he saved his bag from harm. In match play Schuler defeats Korleski, Grote defeats Rutigliano, and Wrobel defreats Griffith with a par on #18. Congrats gentlemen.
May 18, 2017 (Neshanic Valley - M/L)
Jim Petronchak wins by 2 shots over Dave Perry. Winds, dry fairways, firm greens and high temperatures led to some interesting club selections. Jay Griffith had a good Johnny and could have made a commercial for the TaylorMade M1 Driver.
